"Seri" - Japanese Parsley
A green-colored ingredient often used in rice-cake soup, a popular local New Year recipe.
This type of parsley is one of the popular local vegetables. They are vivid-green vegetables with a stem of 40cm (15.7”). The low on fiber stem is very thin and soft and it doesn’t have a sharp taste. It is a popular ingredient for New Year’s rice-cake soups and adds some crispiness and flavor-balance to rice-porridges, hotpots or soups.
