"Kaga Tsurumame" - Wild Soybeans
Being rich in fiber, they are the most represented local vegetables during the summer months.
They look like peas, but they are quite bigger, fleshier and crunchier.
They are so ridiculously easy to grow and farm that the people from the region started calling them the ridiculous beans.
The best way to eat them is by boiling them in soy sauce or salty water. They are also often accompanied with tuna or mayonnaise and a cup of sake.
