"Amaika" - Swordtip Squid
A deliciously sweet and meaty squid.
Akaika is the common name for the swordtip squid in the Ishikawa Prefecture.
It is much softer than the Japanese Common Squid. Having them as sashimi is most recommended because it keeps their sweet taste. They will taste crunchily when grilled or fried. They are high-quality ingredients that contain a lot of amino acids.
